Posner Cuing: Attention
About Game
Posner Cuing: Attention
Training: attentiveness
How it works
A fixation cross in the center. First a cue (arrow) appears on one side, then a target. The cue is usually valid, but can mislead (invalid) or be neutral. React to the target side. Metric: validity effect = RT(invalid) − RT(valid) — index of orienting attention.
Real-life benefits
Spatial attention
Reorienting
Reaction speed
Tip
Regular 5-10 minute daily sessions give better results than occasional long sessions.
